Welcome to Mileon.

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using the Mileon app, website, and related services.

By accessing or using Mileon, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Mileon.

1. About Mileon

Mileon is a driving companion designed to help users record drives, understand driving activity, manage vehicle maintenance, connect with friends, organize Meet-ups, and use other driving-related features.

Mileon is intended for personal use.

Mileon is not an emergency service, professional navigation system, mechanical diagnostic service, vehicle safety system, or replacement for professional automotive advice.

2. Your Account

Some Mileon features require an account.

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for activity performed through it.

You agree to provide accurate information where required and keep relevant account information up to date.

You may not access or use another person’s account without permission.

3. Drive Tracking

Mileon can record information about your drives, including route, distance, time, speed, and other driving information.

Automatic Tracking is designed to detect drives without requiring you to manually start every trip.

Drive detection depends on factors such as device permissions, GPS availability, motion information, background activity, network conditions, and device behavior.

As a result, Mileon may occasionally:

You should not rely on Mileon as the sole record when an exact, official, tax, legal, insurance, or business mileage record is required.

4. Maps and Location Information

Some Mileon features depend on GPS, maps, device sensors, network availability, and third-party services.

Location, routes, distance, speed, parking location, estimated arrival time, and other information may occasionally be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable.

Always follow actual road conditions, posted signs, speed limits, and applicable traffic laws.

5. Safe Driving

Your safety comes first.

Do not interact with Mileon in a way that distracts you while driving.

Mileon does not promote or encourage:

Features such as analytics, records, badges, and leaderboards are designed for information, motivation, and entertainment.

They should never be treated as encouragement to drive faster, take risks, or break traffic laws.

You remain responsible for safely operating your vehicle.

6. Vehicle Services and Maintenance

Mileon can help you organize and track vehicle maintenance.

Service intervals, mileage information, reminders, and other maintenance information are provided for informational and organizational purposes.

They are not a substitute for:

Maintenance requirements can vary depending on your vehicle, age, mileage, condition, driving environment, and service history.

If you are concerned about your vehicle’s condition or safety, consult a qualified professional.

7. Friends and Sharing

Mileon allows you to connect with friends and share selected information.

Depending on your settings, this may include:

You are responsible for deciding who you add as a friend and what information you share.

You can change your sharing settings or remove a friend when you no longer want to share information with that person.

Mileon also provides Incognito for individual drives when you want to keep a drive private from friends.

8. Meet-ups

Mileon allows users to create Meet-ups, invite friends, choose locations and times, and indicate when they are on the way.

Meet-up information may be created or provided by Mileon users.

Mileon does not guarantee that a Meet-up location, time, participant, description, or other user-provided information is accurate, appropriate, or safe.

Use reasonable judgment when creating, joining, sharing, or traveling to a Meet-up.

9. Leaderboards, Badges and Driving Records

Mileon may include leaderboards, badges, achievements, records, and similar features.

These features are intended to make driving activity more engaging and help users understand their progress.

Leaderboards may compare metrics such as distance, number of trips, or driving time.

They are not intended to reward speeding, racing, aggressive driving, or unsafe behavior.

10. Content You Provide

Mileon may allow you to provide content and information such as:

You must not upload or share content that is illegal, abusive, harmful, fraudulent, misleading, or infringes another person’s rights.

You give Mileon permission to host, store, process, and display your content only as reasonably necessary to provide and operate the features you choose to use.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Mileon.

You may not:

12. Third-Party Services

Mileon relies on third-party technologies and services for parts of its functionality.

These may include authentication, maps, cloud infrastructure, storage, weather information, notifications, and other services.

Third-party services may occasionally become unavailable, change, or provide inaccurate information.

Mileon is not responsible for interruptions or changes caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.

13. Paid Features and Subscriptions

Mileon may offer optional subscriptions, one-time purchases, or other paid features.

Before making a purchase, you will be shown the applicable price, billing period, and included features.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless you cancel them through your Apple account before the applicable renewal date.

You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple account settings.

Any free trial, introductory price, promotional offer, Lifetime purchase, or other offer is subject to the terms displayed when the offer is presented.

14. Apple App Store

If you download or purchase Mileon through the Apple App Store, your use of the iOS application is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Apple’s Standard EULA applies to the license granted to you for the Mileon iOS application where applicable.

Purchases and subscriptions processed through the App Store are also subject to Apple’s applicable terms and policies.

15. Availability and Changes to Mileon

We may update, improve, add, change, or remove Mileon features over time.

We may also temporarily suspend parts of Mileon for maintenance, security, technical issues, or other operational reasons.

We do not guarantee that every feature will always remain available or unchanged.

16. Disclaimer

Mileon is provided on an “as available” basis.

We work to make Mileon useful, reliable, and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every feature will always work without interruption or error.

This includes drive detection, GPS information, analytics, routes, service reminders, notifications, Friends features, Meet-ups, leaderboards, and other functionality.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mileon is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mileon and its operator will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses resulting from your use of or inability to use Mileon.

This may include losses related to inaccurate location information, missed or incorrect drive recordings, missed maintenance reminders, unavailable features, third-party services, or information provided by other users.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

18. Account Suspension and Termination

You can stop using Mileon at any time.

You can permanently delete your account from:

Profile → Account → Delete Account

We may restrict or terminate access to Mileon if an account seriously or repeatedly violates these Terms, threatens Mileon or other users, abuses the service, or is used for unlawful purposes.

The handling of personal information following account deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Mileon changes or when legal requirements change.

When we update them, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

If an update materially affects your use of Mileon, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.
